Yin. The Way In.

This seven day Yin immersion is to learn to rest comfortably in your seat of Awareness. This will allow you to teach from a place of honesty. This training will give you the confidence to meet all of life’s demands, and teach you how to trust yourself in making decisions. Yin offers the fire of transformation to your mind-matter as activity melts into Stillness.

Jolene’s offering for yin is an experiential teaching in that you learn what yin is through your own body. Each student learns to speak the language of body and will witness for themselves the anatomical layers of the internal landscape. In meeting the stillness your inner teacher becomes awakened. Yin Teacher Training is unlike any other program. It is a reintroduction to what a miracle the body is, and as we journey through our bodies, we awaken our true potential and possibility as you get to know what you’re made of.

• Yin Yoga Classes
Dive into the infinite depths of your mind/matter in an exploration through yin. Uncover a deeply meditative approach to one of the stillest & quietest asana practices.

• A Glimpse into Yin Roots
A brief look into the origins of yin yoga and the evolution of its popularity throughout our time. Understand the difference between yin and yang styles of yoga and be re-acquainted with the intention of an intimate practice.

• When to Yin your Yang
Gain an appreciation of when and how Yin Yoga can balance and enhance your life. Learn how to intuitively feel your way through this unique practice.

• The Inner World Wide Web
A look at the diverse tissues of the body, gain concise clarity on the body's inner web of connective tissue. Look into the physiological benefits of a yin specific practice.

• Channeling Vitality
A look into Meridian Theory and the correlation between this self induced acupressure practice and how it assists the innermost pulse of life force.

• Pranayama (Anchor Management)
Learn precise breath techniques that encourage an inner quietude, brings balance to the body/mind, and inspires your presence & grounding on the mat and in your life. 

• The Construct of Yin
Learn the backbone of this inclusive practice while we examine the structure of the yin poses. Learn the specific benefits and a multitude of variations for each pose. Learn to weave together a conscious sequence of poses to create a seamless practice.

• Teaching Practicum
Experience teaching Yin in a safe and supportive environment where you are encouraged to source your own instinctive style of this teaching.
